editorial standards
sources
- every entry needs at least one citation.
- entries about a living person or active entity need at least two citations from independent sources (distinct domains).
- each entry carries an alleged or proven flag. "proven" is only used when a cited source establishes a finding, such as a conviction, a regulatory ruling or an admission, no matter how vague this must be.
balance
a dossier should not present concerns alone if known clearances or responses exist. positive items such as corrective actions follow the same citation rules.
verdicts
a moderator assigns the verdict (hot or not) after reviewing the dossier and writes a 2–4 sentence verdict paragraph. contributors do not set verdicts. there is no community voting.
A VERDICT IS AN EDITORIAL SUMMARY OF THE CITED FACTS BELOW. IT IS NOT A LEGAL FINDING OR DETERMINATION OF GUILT.
transparency
- edits and deletions are flagged on relevant posts.
contributors
contributors are approved by admin after submitting credentials, a statement, and a requested screen name. public pages show only the screen name. real identity is held privately and never returned to public clients.
